Breakfast in Wee!ville

Jun 05, 2006 11:05

Kiki Aunt Iki deserved breakfast. Wee!Wilson had deemed this to be so upon waking in the big bed with his wee!companion and after some chatter that would have been thoroughly incomprensible to any adult but which made perfect sense to the wees, they wriggled out of the bed and set about thier mission ( Read more... )

Well, the eggs volleys were probably only a fair return for the pine cone escapade on Saturday, and the wee!angel was giggling just as hard as his friend as they proceeded to make a horrible mess of the kitchen.

Good thing Kiki had that handy spell!

Of course, flying eggs required some sort of retaliation. And hey, the the room was already covered in flour, right? So, scooping up a couple handfuls and throwing them at the wee!doctor couldn't do any harm.

[ooc: My access is very hit and miss today. Please feel free to mod wee!Phale as you like!]

Opening his mouth in a little 'O' at the dark-haired boy's audacity, Aziraphale bent over and wrapped his arms around his bowl in a classic 'this is mine, not yours' gesture. He tilted his head to the side though, grinning up at Wilson, as if challenging him to try and steal again.

And then, while his little friend was distracting by Kiki's opening the milk for him, the wee!angel sneakily scooped up a handful of cereal and threw it at Wilson.

Cereal was almost as much fun to throw as flour!

Sliding forward into a bit of a crouch, Wilson eyed the protected bowl with a predatory glint in his dark eyes. When he was briefly distracted by milk and the cereal flew he looked around at Phale with shocked eyes.

Well, a cereal attack could not go unanswered!!

So, we all know that wee!angel's don't like bath water on their wings, how do they feel about a gallon of milk?

No fair! Milk was wet, and you couldn't throw it back!

Letting out a little squeal, Aziraphale tucked his wings flat against his back and covered his head with his wee little arms, even as he looked around for something to retaliate with.

Hm...if a handful of cereal was good for throwing, then a whole bowl would be even better. Grabbing up his bowl, which luckily didn't yet have any milk in it, he upended the entire thing over the top of Wilson's head.

Kiki sat back and let the exchange happen. It was obvious that these two could not behave at all around food, and her head ached too much to try to control the two toddlers right now.

Instead she held out her bowl and attempted to catch some of the cereal and milk that was flying around. Perhaps she could get some breakfast that way.

Eventually, Kiki's pose sank in on Wilson and he turned in the midst of smoodging wet cereal into Phale's hair and looked at Kiki a little sheepishly.

"Iki, ceral." He said and after one of those unique moments of communication between toddlers the two little boys stopped wrestling about and very solicitously found some cereal -Kiki didn't mind that it had been on the floor at one point, right?- and some milk into her bowl.

Then, Wilson gave Phale a little tug and after further communication, the two wees! set about trying to clean up. They, got it half right...but the other half...err... well...

"Why, thank you," she smiled. "Don't worry about cleaning up right now, boys, you should enjoy your breakfast. After all, it's not everyday you get to have breakfast in a super special secret fort!"

"Seekit," the wee!angel repeated solemnly, looking at Kiki with a very worried expression. She looked tired and unhappy, even when she was smiling, and he was afraid her bump must still be hurting her. That was bad, he didn't want his Auntie Kiki to be unhappy, and after a few moments of very serious contemplation, he scooted across the floor and climbed into her lap, putting his arms around the young witch's neck and laying his head against her shoulder.

"Kaykay, Iki."

Kiki wrapped her arm around the adorable little cherub. "You two are just the cutest pair I've ever seen," she smiled, kissing him on the forehead.

Not wanting to be left out, Wilson crawled up against Kiki's side and hugged around her waist, leaning his head against her arm.

"Love our Iki." He said softly.

Kiki giggled, putting her other arm around Jimmy and hugging him closely, bending her head to kiss him on the crown of his mop of dark hair.

"I love you two," she gave a little sigh, "no matter what age you are!"
