Megan Wheeler

Megan is someone who Julianna considers an 'unexpected friend.' She didn't realize that they have as much in common as they do. She enjoys hanging out with Megan. Most of her cop friends have been male and she enjoys that Megan doesn't fit the stereotype of most cops she knows. There's still that inherent police nature, though, which Julianna appreciates for its familiarity

Julianna views Jack as someone who is waaay too nice. She doesn't know a lot about him, but feels pretty comfortable with him. He's pretty easy to talk to and calming - a nice balance to herself. She'd like to know him better and he's one of the few men who she wants to get to know better but has no desire to sleep with. It's not because he's unattractive, obviously, but he's not her type. He is fun, though, and she's glad that he's her friend.

I'd also be interested in Melvin's thoughts on Alan, although Alan wants it made clear that he has no interest in what Melvin thinks.

Theoretically, Alan is not someone Julianna should like. His occupation and the fact that he defended a man she loathes should cross that right out...but she tends to make up her own rules and senses that a bit in him. She also has a habit of seeking out people she thinks are interesting, whether she should or not.

Part of her wants to know what makes him tick. On the other hand, she wonders if that's better left unknown. More than anything, he seems (despite his occupation) fun and she does love fun. Really, who the hell drives up to New York City because a girl wants to look at his car? This intrigues her and makes her wonder what else he might do upon proper persuasion...
