After getting the address from Captain Ross, Julianna left One Police Plaza and hopped on the subway heading toward Greenwich Village. An hour. It had taken her an hour to get Margot to stop crying. Toys, bottles, singing, funny faces... Megan was convinced the only reason her daughter wasn't crying now was because she'd worn herself out. Of course, she'd worn her poor mother out too. Her mom had said she was going to get a taste of her own medicine from when she was a baby.

She was already wishing loud, fussy children on Margot when she grew up.

When Megan heard the knock at the door, she breathed a sigh of a relief. Backup. She went to the door and opened it, surprised at who she saw there. "Julianna?"

Julianna noted the look of surprise on Megan's face. "Heyyy," she smiled. "...I probably should have called first. Is this a bad time?"
