Beautiful chapter, chica. Sorry I couldn't beta - I wanted to - but real life kinda took over for me this weekend, as you well know.
Anyway - I loved this chapter - the ending was bittersweet. I'm hoping she takes him back.
And as long as this fic is still going - Owen's not dead, as far as I'm concerned. Screw that silly season finale! ;~D

I just read all 17 chapters of this in one sitting...it's amazing. I love Kayla...and your Owen is so dead on in character. You're gonna update soon, right? ;)

Oh...the Combat storyline is next, makes sense. That episode made me so sad for Owen. I just wanted to snuggle him and tell him it would be okay.
