welcome back! computer issues suck...i feel your pain as i've gone through it numerous times.
Hugh Laurie won best actor last night and was absolutely adorable. Genuinely surprised at his win (or just a really good faker) and talked about how he was speechless...literally without a speech. Then he said how in the weeks before awards shows companies send you all sorts of free crap, why doesn't anyone give out free acceptance speeches? And that he wanted to be reading a speech by Dolce & Gabana.
Your holidays went well? Mine were rather uneventful. I don't celebrate Christmas, and New Years is just another day to me...but I had the house to myself and had some friends over for dinner, movies, board games, etc.
but i think they have gotten/will get some more nominations from the writers guild, director's guild, actor's guild etc....at least they have in previous years...

was the show nominated for best show or any of the other actors nominated??

Thanks not bad new year etc, hope your holiday festivities was fun!
Hugh did indeed win, nothing else for the show though.. as for House we have no idea they arent saying when season 3 will be on ch5.. :(
