It looked close for a while in our delusional contest between these two lovely women. Summer Glau was ahead on points from the juggling and accordian events, but Kate Beckinsale really won everyone over with her buffet of international cuisine; her daeji bulgogi (spicy pork Korean style with fermented radishes) was a big hit, the Tums came out like ( Read more... )

There's probably an audience eager for it, I just don't think either of the actresses would consider that approach.

Well, they could always star in a sexy hip remake of WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE, but then again, the "baby" description might cause conflicts....

If Kate can whip up some Bibimbop with kimchee then I'm hers.
Will also be in the front row for the Elektra Woman flick. Although if we can only get Kaye, I'd suggest an ISIS remake.

Oh yes, Kate would be ideal as ISIS.

Summer Glau as Honey West would not be too hard to accept.

I can't see either of them as Modesty Blaise, though.. that's a tough part to cast.

Back in the 90's I thought Weird Science's Vanessa Angel would have made a decent Modesty.

I like the way she would look in the role (heck, I just like the way Vanessa Angel looked) but I don't think I've ever seen her do action scenes*. Modesty Blaise would have to be convincing as a fighter, armed or unarmed.

Maybe Jessica Biel?
