They even made a movie which was horrible, and not in a good sense. B-movie veteran Marc Singer starring as Turner. It was tired and dumb. Some things just work better on paper.

I thought Dan Turner would work best as a short cartoon with a constant narration. The effect would be like that old cartoon "A Symphony In Slang." So much would depend on getting just the right voice.
