I don't recommend you sticking your finger into someone's chest cavity, Alex. Leave that to the professionals.
In another ten or twelve years, after you've finished medical school, I'll happily show you how to ptoperly explore a chest wound and insert a chest tube.
I do this procedure on a routine basis Alex, typically in a trauma room, as does Dr. Lockhart and Dr. Kovac.
It's a simple chest tube insertion, I was merely showing a group of med students and interns the proper technique since we happened to be in the OR. Shirley was good enough to take pictures for me.
