A few minutes later, House walked in. Well, stumbled, more like. He'd hardly slept in two days, and he hadn't been near his drug stash either, even though he'd been tempted just now before coming here. But he was more interested in just getting into bed.
There was no point in hanging around the clinic, especially not with Logan there.
He didn't really even acknowledge Cameron, just stripped off his shirt and started pawing around in a pile of clothes for pajama bottoms.
Cameron looked up from her growing assortment of strangely shaped scalpels and other devices. "You look terrible," she observed, concern overtaking her paranoia. "What happened? Is something wrong?"
Her hands went to her mouth before she could stop herself. "Oh my god," she said. "That's awful. Almost nothing to do but give him enough medicine to ride it out." There was definitely a part of her that had perked up at the mention of a rare illness, and she pushed it back down.

"Oh," he said, as if just noticing she was there. "It's... Jack. Jellyfish sting. Severe symptoms. I think it's irukandji syndrome."
