A quick Q for all my Battlestar Galactica watching friends:

Is the mini series/pilot dvd, that's available to buy, a prequel to series 1 (and therefore something I have not seen), or was it incorporated into season 1 and therefore I have seen.

It's a prequel, and features the beginning of the war. The events are referred to by the series, so you probably wont see anything surprising if you watch it after s1, but it's worth watching.

Although it's called mini series (because I think that's how it was originally broadcast), it's amalgamated on the DVD as a single feature-length episode, so it feels more like a pilot movie - but you'll get a strong feeling as to where the breaks were between episodes!

After writing that yesterday, I had no choice other than to watch it again last night. And now, I think I'm going to have to watch series 1 and 2 again. Then buy series 3.

Why is it a whole group of people seem to blame me for their dvd purchases, when I hardly ever buy any myself!!

(Apart from the four I ordered this week cos they were sooo cheap)
