Since this is actually deeply interesting (because of the rare Black Jack content), I thought that I should share the news with all of you, that the Tezuka anime digital rentals are back online since last month! =D
Yes and no. Once you purchased the videos from that site, you'll download them to your computer. After that, you got a limited time frame in which you can watch them because all the videos (apart from the free stuff on that site) are protected via DRM. The time frame, in which you are able to watch the videos does varies, depending on the content (one, two or sometimes even four weeks).
It would actually be nice to have subtitles for the ONAs (since there is enough space beneath each ONA, which would be perfect for adding a subtitle) but I'm gonna watch them anyhow, with or without a subtitle.
The question is, if anyone would be willing to create subtitles for it (maybe the staff from Frostii might be interested in it since they also subbed all the other Black Jack TV adaptations). It's just to bad, that the files are only available in such a low resolution (only 640x480).
Yes, that's the reason why I labeled this entry Tezuka Anime Digital Rentals. ^^;
I know, that it is kind of sad that you can't keep the videos (I would actually prefer an DVD release of the all ONAs, including the zap feature) but on the other hand, it's not that expensive to rent them, if you really wanna watch them.

I wonder if someone could use a program that records whatever's on their computer screen to bypass the security measures.

The ONAs are actually pretty awesome, cute and occasionally quite hilarious!
