I’ve been awake since about 4:30-4:45, listening to the hollow echoes of a dog barking a block away and the low hum of the C-PAP. My mind is racing around the house that could maybe be ours. I want to celebrate. I want to breathe that sigh of relief, and draw in the air of certainty.

Brenda called about the house yesterday and told us the Sellers are not interested in any offer with a contingency on us selling our house and/or “right to first refusal.” Tim’s response was: “No wonder they haven’t sold their house yet-crybabies.”

I just re-read what I wrote yesterday. I crack myself up! At least I know I’m neurotic, and, as G.I.
