Update: Yesterday I got my faculty ID card and parking hang-tag.
$50 will come out of my first paycheck -- gotta love having to PAY to PARK at WORK

At least it's good for a calendar year and I don't have to fight students for parking, I suppose.

I also went into the lab and learned all about how the lab assistants check out thousands

LOL...I'm in Comm Studies -- I'll have a 3/3 teaching load and get comp-ed one class for being "director" of our Communication Computer Lab. I'm earning it already! ;)

i'm afraid that said lj-er has an entire community devoted to snarking the anti-vax folks. she is quite a nice person otherwise, even IRL, though.

Seriously, though, she seemed SUPER-COOL (tm). I guess that even tho I'm anti-vax, I'm not a homeschooling, homechurching religious/cult leader NOR a complete moron. Weird, huh?

I can overlook a lot, *grins*, so I might try finding her again. I think she's on your flist. I am on the lookout for new friends (like she is!) and I'm completely okay if someone thinks I'm a bit of a whack-job. ;)
