As day began to give itself over to night, the door to #4 Mauvaise Chance Apartments stood open and inviting. The door frame had been decked out with faux pillars with the words Casino Hallow’s Eve over the top. "I barely know anyone," Rory says hesitantly to Bridge. "Though Dr. Wilson did take care of me when I was sick last November. I guess that makes it okay. Plus you know people and I'm here with you and so I should stop babbling now."

"Ooh." Rory pretends to look pensive. "Like, a real place with like...chairs that don't swivel, and no desks but tables instead, and maybe no books? Not that I don't love books, because you know I do, but I am simply clarifying."

Rory goes up on her toes a little tiny bit so she can lean over and give him a quick kiss. "This thingy should stay down all night," she decides, playing with the bottom half of his mask before shyly taking a step back.
