She barely paid attention to the rest of
the meeting. She'd moved over to stand by the stained glass window, staring at it blankly and not noticing as the others began to filter out of the room one by one. The video of Ollie had seemed to snap her cousin into a strangely focused, in-control leader. Which had probably been part of Oliver's reasoning to begin with.
She drew in a breath and let it out slowly, winding her arms more tightly around herself and willing her thoughts to go blank.
The urge to take off was still ever-present.
Lois didn't handle this kind of pain very well. Usually she would throw herself into work, bury herself in a story or just busy herself trying to fix things however she possibly could.
