Oh, shenanigans. I just got an e-mail from my realtor asking me to sign some papers. It looks like we're really close to bank approval and I'm FREAKING OUT HERE. take slow deep breaths, fix a good cup of tea, perhaps along with a snack, and then watch a good episode of Dr. Who or Harry Potter movie to take your mind off things. Getting a house is stressful, but once your in your brand new place it is worth it in the end. It is just the getting there that is a pain.

I think this is just what Geeklet meant when she said, the night before 3rd grade, that she was excited but also felt like killing someone plus wanted to cry. I guess the same advice applies to you! Alternate between preparing for the Huge Event, running around to release energy, and distracting yourself with entertainment.
