today i had an appointment with an optometrist, and i tried contacts for the first time ever. i was supposed to try to keep them in for 4 hours...i gave up after 1.5 hours. it probably didn't help that i was staring at a computer screen, but my eyes are still itchy, and the damn things have been out for 11 hours! it's not like i want to wear ( Read more... )

I suspect my theater "career" would work out a little better if I could wear contacts, but I can't even put an eyebrow pencil near my eyes without them freaking out hardcore.

I tried contacts once upon a time also and had luck the first day, but decreasingly good luck over time. I could never keep them in for more than a few hours at best and was constantly putting in drops and trying not to rub my eyes. I wish you the best of luck.

also, oops i didn't call you this weekend to discuss stuff. i might have slept over a friend's house after a party on friday and been hung over all day saturday, and i might have been at the spa all day sunday. i should have come up with a better excuse, but meh, my mind is like a sieve.
