My mind was screaming "No, no! This isn't right! She belongs with Charles!"...but I can see this happening. Scottishness and all. And this was really lovely. The playfulness especially.

Thanks! I'm especially glad to hear you liked the playfulness. I was toying with the general idea for the drabble but it wasn't until I realized I should just let them be playful that it really came together into something I was satisfied with.
