I've been waiting for an opportunity to use the word "flannelling" since Mrs Hughes used it to tell off William, appropriately in the most recent shipwatch episode.

I ended up reading some fics lately where Mrs Crawley and Mrs Hughes were friends, and eventually I began wondering if they might make a good pairing, though not, probably, in Downton Abbey time.
