Anna leads Clark through a handy-dandy Nexus portal into her living room.

The front door to her apartment is looking distinctly unwell.

In the way where the doorknob is lying crumpled on the floor, dented with what appear to be finger-marks.

With a sigh, she lets go of most of her anger.

"Désolée, cheri," she murmurs.

Just don't ask what she's apologizing for. She isn't entirely certain she knows.

"I know. I wish we could have avoided this." It may be his own attempt at an apology.

"Yeah."

Sigh.

"Me, too."

If she can't retroactively prevent this disagreement, she can at least fix it with cuddles.

Right?

It's a start.

He gives her a light squeeze. "All right. I'm going to head home, then. I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay?"

She kisses his cheek.
