It's Sunday, which means Anna has a day off today.
This is good, because after
helping herself to some free flowers last night, she's... shall we say... disinclined to get up.
Incapable of it, one might say.
She's also running quite the fever, and it's rather lucky all things considered that people in comas are not, on the whole, given to
It doesn't sound quite as firm as she'd like it to. There's a part of her, still, that's extraordinarily aware of every one of those bruises - a part that wishes heartily they'd gone on to make more. She kisses his cheek again, almost to cover it up.

Sigh. She rubs her eyes, compelled to be entirely truthful.
"Most of me. And I can ignore the dissenting bits."

"But there are dissenting bits."

Anna sighs again.
"We've been over this, Clark. Remember?"
She's thinking of his laundry room, of him saying he can't hurt her, of her telling him (and herself) that it's all right.

"I'm fond of you," she says - a hesitant explanation. "All of you, I mean. Even when you're on drugs." Tiny chuckle. "Even when you're throwing me in a lake."

Somehow when she says it in French it's less intimidating.
"And no, I don't like you better when you're on drugs, okay?"
Sometimes Clark is just too easy to read.

What she says garners a tiny smile, though. "Okay."

Clark gets a hug, a kiss, and a cheerful smile.
It is at this point the narration would like to delicately remind him he's sitting half-dressed on his girlfriend's bed while she, not dressed at all, cuddles in his lap.
There are certain things generally accepted as the universal response to this situation.

"You're sure you're okay?" He brushes her hair out of her face. "You're not starting to get sick again like last time?"

She kisses him, still smiling.
"And I'm not tired in the slightest."
Which considering what she's been doing for the past few hours is actually mildly surprising, but Anna is always especially energetic right after a torch.

Clark isn't exactly tired himself, but there's a bit of a downslide in energy when he comes off red K. Add that to his conscious coming back online and he's just going to sit here for a bit longer.

All things considered (he killed her, something she thought he'd never do - and he trusted her to bring him back from the red K he used to do it), Anna really isn't going to object if she has to stick to cuddles for the time being.
Besides, Clark makes for some damn good cuddles.
