I NEED THINGS FOR MY OFFICE!

So, I need a new printer. I might could do with a new scanner too …

Regular office printer, don't need to make nice photo prints or color even. The smaller and more cost-effective it is, the better.

I'm doing my own research, but does anybody have a recommendation?

The printer is a necessity. The one I have sometimes vomits ink in the middle of my prints. It's... full of remnant dog hair... no good. The printer you recommended looks perfect, since I don't need color.

Also, I would take that old scanner off your hands. I've been using Niki's, and it's kind of a hassle that I don't have my own.
