It's really good to see some enthusiasm for V for Vendetta. I liked it. I didn't outright love it, but what I did like was that it tried something different. How amazing is that. It's a big-bang action flick for a mass audience that dared to be original - all praise and respect go to the film-makers there! At least it wasn't another Matrix attempt. The film had ideas and good for that too!! :)

Yeah. It had as many good ideas as the first and a truckload more ideas than the two sequels.

It's been getting a right slagging off in the UK press from all and sundry, but it's a bit unfair. I'll always laud a film that tries something a bit different and dares to at least go out on a limb to think about stuff more - esp. in a blockbuster type flick where it's less expected!

i FINALLY got to go see it today! and, wow, oh goodness me. i had to come by because i 'membered you going on about it and have stolen the "god is in the rain" icon becaus WOW i was weeping at that scene!!!! and i love/saved the dancing one too. =)
