Ok, just a minor point but "aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh" really expresses a delighted sense of relief, even, er, ecstasy. The expression you are seeking is, most probably, "aarrgghhhhh". Just a little clarification. Cripes, get it right, okay!?

See, I would argue that expressions of glee or distress can be relative. For example, that was more of drawn out scream of displeasure. "Aaaagghh" is more of a gutteral, closed off noise of discomfort. "Nnnnghh" is an even more closed off noise of displeasure, where one's nose is scrunched up. And noises of pleasure are generally more "Squee" or "Eeeee". As for something more, um, relaxed, it would not be capitalized-- "Ahhhhhhh."

But then, that's my personal interpretation. :D
