I've been out of the fandom loop so much that it took me a few seconds to figure out what Jacket meant, lol.

Ugh at Gizzie. I don't watch GA but just looking at that name, I can see that it does not bode well for those two.

That storyline signaled the beginning of the end. GA wasn't the best show ever, but that was its true downfall. The Gizzie relationship was so very wrong in every way.

I like the shipper names that are creative- that aren't a mash up of names. Literati (Rory/Jess) is probably one of my favourites.

I've always found Jate/Skate/Jacket terrible. I'm a Sawyer/Kate devotee myself, but I won't succumb to "Skate".

As for Gizzie - just no. Another pretty shocking one is Misa (Michael/Sara).

However, the one I will allow is Addisex (Addison/Alex), just 'cause it sounds sassy. And Viper (Cooper/Violet), because I like that word regardless. But even then I will pretty much never use them.

MerDer's terrible too, for obvious reasons, although us dislikers use it to our advantage. LoVe, otoh, is one of those rare names that work.

I like shipper names that put more thought into them- the ones that don't just mash up names. Some of them are creative. Otherwise, if I use them, and I think Skate is the most used, it's for ease.

LOL at Jate being the worst shipper name. :) I so agree BTW, it sounds awful. Most shipper names sound ridiculous, but some are funny imho, which actually have a meaning like Skate or Jacket. :)

Lindelof: We will say we haven't seen the last of Sawyer and Kate this season. Not by a long shot.
