I know. Seriously, I need to stop. It is all coming from the last good thrift stores on Capitol Hill. They are my true weakness.

I went to my DREAM store today. It resides at 80th and 15th in Ballard. It is called Northwest Cane Supply. It consists of a guy (cute) with a large shop filled with all kinds of antiques that need refurbishing. He was SUPER helpful. He gave me some great advice and then said, "If you have any questions or need anything, just call". I wanted to ask if he was hiring. But, I didn't.

I keep kidding myself that it is a shaker chair. It would be worth in the hundreds of thousands if that was the case. I think it was just in the style.

I have a rocker that's vinyl caned, and 40 years old.

I live in fear of ever having it split.

I feel your pain!

Thankfully, the guy at the store was super helpful. It really shouldn't be that bad.
