I am both very sorry and very surprised to hear this, Douglas. You two seemed very happy and in love on the ski trip, and I could not possible imagine what could have gone wrong in such a short period of time.

You were very good for him, and I think he loved you more than he could love anyone. Even more then when he loved me, in that alternate reality.

I know you do not want an offer of somewhere to go, but if there is anything I can do to help, let me know.
