[ooc] question for the gallery

Mar 07, 2006 09:23

So a question for those who have seen the Codex:

Does the Quatrain format add to the prophecy or do you think I should frame the next ones in a different style? I don't mind converting the visions to quatrain format, but if they detract from things too much, I can find a new style to relay them in.

Thoughts?

Quatrain is fine with me, and it seems to lend to the visions/prophecies well.

Of course, you know I disassemble just about anything I read, regardless of format, so whatever format you choose will be fine as it's going to be broken into itty bitty bits no matter what. ;)

I'm not breaking it into itty bitty bits for the purpose of deciphering all the meanings. I'm breaking it into itty bitty bits because...well, ask Mark about the time I made a bunch of STs cry. ;>

I've seen it and I think it detracts, but only because people are trying to put more meaning into the format than should be there, you know what I mean?

I think if there are changes in the formats it will keep people guessing... then again I get lost in a wet paper bag :)

I prefer the Quatrains. Keep people guessing. Give Bounds more headaches. ;)

So far I like the quatrains. I say keep them.

It made me cry too. I like the structure because it does give it more brain busting flexibility.
