Well, I've managed to blow my first attempt at a Friday Update, but I have a doctor's note a good excuse. The House Rabbit Society got a free booth at a veterinary trade show from Thursday to Saturday, and I agreed to organize volunteers to staff it and do setup and teardown. A bit of help
If any of my local friends are going to be around on Saturday afternoon, I could use a bit of help. I'm in charge of a House Rabbit Society booth at a veterinary conference at National Harbor (just across the Wilson Bridge in MD.) Intercon dead dog
So who's signed up to go to the dead dog? We're trying to decide whether to go. We don't want to miss socializing if all our friends are going, but there may not be anything Terilee can eat. (Mustard allergy.) Since it's prepaid, that makes it a bit more problematic than an informal dead dog, where she could just get food somewhere else afterward ( Read more... ) -
Baby bunnies!
For our new foster bunny at the end of January, we volunteered to raise a litter of baby bunnies (and their mom) that were at the Fairfax shelter. They are, of course, impossibly cute.
