Given the number of things that were being firmly ignored by both parties, Vesper was hard-pressed to come up with a line of conversation that actually went somewhere.

Given the indeed, pleasant weather, Aravis had decided to take Trenor out for a ride. She had her scimitar, naturally, since she had heard of the strangeness on the island at the moment, but she wasn't particularly concerned.

She didn't pause when she spotted the figures ahead, immediately recognizing one as Professor Bond. The other was a bit harder to place at a distance, but as she approached, she started to slow Trenor, because she clearly couldn't be seeing right.

"...good afternoon."
