I decided that for my birthday, I want to spend a quiet but memorable weekend with stefaroos. So I made reservations at a great B&B in Mendocino -- not the one I'd originally wanted, but the new place was having a 50% off sale, so I still win. We're gonna eat out at nice restaurants, soak in hot tubs, get massages,

I don't mean to be any poopier than normal, but Boonville is about an hour's windy-ass drive from Mendocino. Actually I'm not dead-certain about the exact road betwixt those two, but 128 is pretty gruesomely twisty between Boonville and 101. Maybe it improves after we take our normal left at Philo.

I guess I'm just saying...it might be a long round trip.

Yeah, I know the road to Boonville pretty well, so I know what I'm getting into. From Boonville to Hwy 1 and on up to Mendocino via 128 isn't that bad.

In fact, Google Maps has Boonville right on the recommended route to Mendocino.
