Nice, I'd been trying to find out what some people were dressed as at Halloween and now I see the makeup was from this. :)

That's part of the Mexican festival of Day of the Dead. It happens every 31 October to 2 November.
And I do recall a recent music video where everyone wore those kind of make up.
I personally think it is an awesome festival!
