Yay, thank you. And I feel your pain - I only had two his albums up until last summer when I decided to sod it all and used my student loan to buy everything else. Such a bad decision, but at the same time a GREAT one.

How did I never realize that the woman in the photo from Gold was Carrie? I've spent more time staring at the Gold liner notes than I am comfortable admitting on the internet.

I didn't know until I read an interview (I would have the link but I read so much to make this thing I have no idea which one it might me, ha) that mentioned it. I don't know what she looks like other than those liner notes and some crappy pictures from google images, which makes for poor comparison, but I'm assuming it's true because it's so fuckin' sad and sweet.

I love the Gold liner notes, and it was the only Ryan album I hard-copy owned until late-2006 so... make of that what you will. There may have been a period of time where I looked at them every night before I went to sleep.

Thank you! And of course, I can always do with more Ryan-minded (and bandom!) people around.

soooo, i just wanna say, i don't know aaaanything about ryan adams, & not much about many of the people listed in this post, but it was so entertaining to read anyway, & there definitely needs to be more people like you on the internet.

I'm really really glad you found it readable. I was a little worried that it might be somewhat incomprehensible to people that knew nothing about him (or them).

Thank you so much. I have most of these (I did take "Amy" and "1974" though, thanks) but I never knew the HISTORY behind them. As a history major, I have to say, thank you a zillion times <3.

Ha, if I'd done put this much research and dedication into my own history degree I probably would've got a first.
