Made for a number of reasons:
- I've been listening to The Kook's "Naive" and Lily Allen's cover constantly for about a year now and I've been wanting to make a mix with them both on for ages.
- Stupid The Academy Is... and stupid "About A Girl" has been stuck in my head since yesterday.
- Belle & Sebastian have far too many good songs and I'm having to leave a billion of them off the sampler I'm making. :(
- This Is Ivy League = ♥_♥
But mostly it's because the line you're just jealous 'cause we're young and in love from "Soco Amaretto Lime" has been stuck in my mind for months, and Jesse Lacey's introduction for the live acoustic version I've included makes me melt, and I've been wanting to put it on a mix since I first heard it. Plus, I rediscovered my muxtape yesterday (check it out if you want to preview the tracks) and decided to have a bash at making shorter mixes (this mix originally started off with twenty-one tracks, heh). It all seems to have come together quite nicely.
