This morning at the crack of 10:30, I got a call back from one of the places I applied to, for a medical receptionist position in a dental office. The guy asked me if I could come in for an interview this evening and I said sure, because my schedule is obviously as wide open as a cheap hooker's legs right now. He then called me back a few minutes

INFINITE JEST IS THE BEST EVER!!!!! i'm almost done with it, and that makes me sad because soon i won't be able to read it anymore. READ IT-- then we can talk about it! :)

yay!! I'm glad to hear that, especially from you. As soon as I finish the Tom Robbins, I'm starting Infinite Jest, probably this weekend. I'm excited about it.

I want to read Infinite Jest so bad, but the university library doesn't HAVE it. I've heard it's amazing, and DFW's "a supposedly fun thing I'll never do again" is a riot, and wonderfully written. I suggest both.
