A Superfical change

As Mitt Romney now appears to be the Republican front runner it is getting interesting. I don't know who I would vote for if I were a Republican. They seem to have a shallow bench this year. Yeah. He's got more foreign policy experience than an other candidate. He seems to be the only one who has a plan to head off a civil war in Iraq and he is good on the social issues. Apart from his gaff, he is a very good speaker and a likable guy.

So...why not?

Bill Richardson has an awful lot of foreign policy experience, you know. He's been nominated for the Nobel peace prize four times for his hostage negotiation work.

If I have to pick a pony with a real shot at the race, it's Bill. I like him a lot, smart, effective, a little fresh to national politics but has gravitas. I thought he was a lousy speaker until I saw this speech on youtube he gave in SC, he's really hilarious and sharp. But if I don't have to be too pragmatic, come on, it's Dennis all the way.

I've been wondering if Giuliani can really stay as strong as the polls have him. And on how weak McCain really is.
