We opened up the Amazon package last night and discovered it did, indeed, contain our shiny new PS Vita. And it is very shiny. The back of the packaging for it says, "Greatness awaits." This makes us a little sad, because it's going to be waiting a very long time at the rate we're going. Three books due in a week and guests coming over the

I know it's pronounced differently and comes from a different Greek word, but you could consider althea, also known as rose of sharon, which is in the hibiscus family. Hibiscus ought to have some kind of presence in the realm of hair accessories... (unless you think it would encourage mispronunciation/misspelling of your name? that would be a bummer.) The olive leafs (or leaves... haha) sound like a lovely idea!!

Ooh, that's something we can work with! Thanks for the tip! I'm pretty sure most people won't be that botanically literate, and we might have to go with a generic five-petaled flower anyway (a lot of the hibiscus stuff is pretty but too big and showy for our general tastes), but as long as we have two distinct shapes (a leaf and a flower), it should be fine.
