Thanks to a heads up from badtzphoto, we were able to take advantage of Kinokuniya's Black Friday free shipping offer! That's when we found out that Kinokuniya recently revamped their whole website! It's kind of...I think it would be less confusing for most people, but since we were used to the old version, it's going to be a little confusing for us until ( Read more... )

I'm glad that you were able to take advantage of their free shipping. I prefer the old version of Kino's website since all of my bookmarks are not invalid and they require to have javascript enable, too. On the other hand, they have wishlist, so I don't need to bookmarks the books anymore, it's the question of transferring all the bookmarks to wish list items which may some take time.

Our main problem with the new site is that it was moving soooooo sloooow. We're hoping that was just because of the Black Friday rush, along with it being a new site and having bugs to work out. But it will be a little while before we order manga again. Good luck getting your bookmarks transferred!

Three cheers for Badtz!!! (I got to make an order too :D) I was a little thrown off by the new website as well-I'll miss the challenge of organizing my orders so everything comes from the same store... But it probably is more efficient and less confusing this way.

The problem of too much stuff, and not wanting to part with any of that stuff, is one I know too well :( Maybe things will look better once you get the Goodwill stuff/lamp/computer parts out of the way. And perhaps someone you know could use the fabric you won't use? Or you could take up quilting... (you could sew a Beekeeper's Quilt! It might(?) be faster than knitting one.) I hope you figure out a solution!

Yeah, that was kind of fun. But the back and forth got to be a little confusing sometimes. Like, "Wait...what have I already ordered again? And where was it from?" But now we won't have to worry about things like not having one volume of Durarara!!. We still need to get volume eight, but since neither of us has finished volume one, we figure we have some time ( ... )
