Hmm, nope, don't think so! In fact I'm not sure I've heard about it until now, but gosh, it sure does sound great! ;)
Seriously though, while it IS really really good, it's probably not quite as amazingly awesome as I'm making it sound like - I just adore it because it's the perfect show for me. It's the first show since Veronica Mars that really felt like MY show, like the kind of show I'd make if I could make shows. Or something. And this despite the fact that I only get about half the references (hey, there's a lot, and I'm not old enough to know some!). Anyways, just want to clarify that, in case all my "OMG COMMUNITY FTW" didn't cover it. Which it probably didn't.
No, I know. :) But I'm sure it's not that bad as I might have thought. Well, I didn't think it was bad, just not for me. But those five minutes was a pretty good impression. Involved a drunk Chevy Chase. :) Maybe he's drunk all the time and I described every episode. :P
Heh, no he's not drunk all the time, just the once I think. And then he's stoned in one episode. But he does act pretty much like he's drunk all the time, in a way, not much inhibitions... I was *SO* not a fan of his before the show, I avoid his movies like the plague (or like Ben Stiller or Steve Martin and other supposedly "funny" people), and now I'm happily making a fanmix in his character's honor. So yeah, he's awesome in Community, absolutely perfect.
I also quite loved it when The Doctor and Amy took Vincent to the museum; made me get all teary! I've never thought about what I'd do with a Tardis, there are just too many possibilities! I like yours though, I definitely would be checking out the future a lot.
Yeah, I almost got mad at that because it was just SUCH a tear-jerker, like they were really trying to make me well up there. And they succeeded too, because darnit, he just looked so happy and it was such a cool thing for him! <3
Really? I always think about stuff like that with all shows (what if, what would I do etc), and most of all with DW. Just to play with the thought of what you'd want to see if you could see ANYTHING in all of time and space... It's like imagining what you'd do with a billion dollars only BETTER! :D I'm future-obsessed, I read books and watch documentaries on what scientists predict the future will be like. So it would definitely be the future for me first of all, I want to see where mankind ends up in the grand scale of things.
