I hated everything about Theon's storyline this entire season. It was overly prioritised and we would have got just as much information from about a tenth of the time spent on it. I suspect that they were trying to play up how broken Theon has been, but quite frankly I never liked him either in the books or on TV and it doesn't really matter how tortured he gets, I just can't bring myself to care.
I did however adore the entire interaction with Joffrey/Tyrion/Tywin. The entire episode could have been nothing but them being gloriously dysfunctional and I would still have loved every second!
I even like Stannis/Melissandre a bit more now after them going "fuck this whole Who Wants to be a Westerosi King bullshit, there are fucking ZOMBIES ARE COMING". Finally, someone with freaking priorities.
YES. My liking for a character always goes up when they display intelligent priorities, so this was definitely good for the Dragonstone crew in my estimation.
I added so many people from my friending meme that I don't know if it's even safe to add more, lol. But I probably will. Oh no! lol.
I haven't seen the torture scenes in books 1-3 so I didn't know that Theon gets castrated. I was very surprised to see that in the episode. Do you know if it happens in books 4-5?
As for GoT all I can say is where was Littlefinger? He's like one of my favs although my favs change episode to episode haha. And the girl that got the boys out of Winterfell when Lovejoy took over, where was she? Just looked it up her name is Osha.
Littlefinger sailed off to marry Catelyn's sister Lisa, I guess they didn't have time to check in with him in the following episodes, or he's still sailing. (He's one of my least favorite characters, I find him super-slimy/creepy!) Osha departed last episode with Rickon (the littlest Stark) to take him somewhere safe (some bannermen/allies of the Starks) while Bran and the rest headed off over the Wall. :)
Yeah an hour long show I have a short attention span no matter how much I like it. Oh that's right Sansa was supposed to go with him. And I totally missed the part with splitting up the boys, I'm still all omging that's the kid from Love Actually haha. Anyways, thanks for the info!

I agree with you on the Ramsay Bolton storyline. As someone who has read the books, I'm very annoyed by it. I understand why they did it, sort of, like lessrest said, but I do think it was a bad decision. I fast forwarded all the torture scenes, not even going to lie. But Davos, yes, definitely one of my favourites. Still.
