Aww, appearantly Sweden won ESC! Now I'm a bit sad I'm not watching anymore and missed it - I like winning. Only heard the song once and it didn't impress me, but then our contributions rarely do. Except The Ark, and they got us bumped into semifinals (which, coincidentally, was when I stopped watching

Do you know the only thing I hate more than Eurovsion? Heatwaves. Except that's not true. I hate something more than heatwaves. I hate it when I complain about the heat and people say "don't complain - it might stop!"
And I'm like "THAT IS WHAT I WANT. WERE YOU NOT LISTENING TO ME JUST NOW?"
Sorry. It's very warm here AND I AM CRANKY.
Because you wouldn't have guessed that if I hadn't told you, eh?
There is a reason I was born this far north. I am genetically ill-equipped to deal with heat. I'm actually a Peacekeeper or something.
But, umm, WELL DONE SWEDEN, and I hope you are enjoying the heat, at least.

LOL, I actually embrace the heat too, mostly because it means being able to not wear socks and I like being barefoot. Sides, it's like 2 months a year, TOPS, and the upside is the weather doesn't make me want to lie in bed and sleep and stare at the ceiling all day.
But yeah, being a natural born Swede I am NOT equipped to deal with heat, so if it actually gets super-hot and not just slightly toasty then I'm all for the complaining. Hell, I'm Swedish, I'm ALWAYS for complaining - it's our national pasttime.

What makes the ESC even more dorkier is that it was invented to bring the European nations closer to each other after WW2, so basically it's a political move, which is hilarious! What is even more hilarious is that it actually works! It doesnt do much for the western countrys anymore because seriously if we become even more friendly we should just get married but it still does wonders in the Eastern-European nations :)

And yeah, I know! It's the cutest and most adorable idea ever! It's like those team-building trips that companies take, but with WHOLE COUNTRIES. Who even thought of that?! So cuuuute.
