I really like the way you describe the experience of opening up.

And Mutts is great. In one of my favorites (paraphrased from memory), Earl and Mooch are with Shtinky Puddin, and Earl says "Hey Shtinky, is there anything you're thankful for?"

Shtinky: Yes!!! This moment.

Earl: Oh, okay... *pause* How about now?

Shtinky: Yes!!! This moment too.
