Since I've not good justification for not having written since my return, I'll offer none.  The truth is simply that I'm busy.  My presence at work was missed, critical deadlines are dancing tarantellas through our office space, and although we are not an academic department there is still a bleed-over of end-of-semester chaos.

How wonderful!! And I'm glad that Doc is enjoying the decorations and holiday cheer in the house. I know the boys are loving the snow!!

Love to you both from us, and enjoy the scent of balsam. I may look for some greenery when we come back. We haven't decorated this year, and have not gotten greenery for a while since it'll just dry out & die when we're absent. I do love the scent, though. More than I will admit. Something lovely about the sharp, pungent scent of fir.
