50% chance of snow showers today in the town where I work.  It's exciting!  Another reason to where flannel-lined khakis today.  And while no one but my wife will have the opportunity to see it, you are privileged to learn that my sweater matches the blue in the flowers of the print on the flannel.  Lucky, lucky, lucky you!

I'm not understanding "closed up house months"? Like you just live in one room for the winter? Or is the house so Jinormous you must close off the east wing?

I never did bond well with glasses, I do use them in low light driving situations and that's about it.

Closed Up House means not leaving windows open, sealing the outside doors we won't be using during the winter (the house has four entrances and we'll only use one during the winter) to decrease heat loss
