same here, i have the card and shit to make it look pretty, but it runs slower than a snail. then when i have it turned down it looks ugly and still plays slow. gonna wait until later i guess~ :(

How much RAM do you have? That could possibly help with the run time.

My computer is almost 6 years old, I upgraded from 2 to 3.5GB ram and now it runs as smooth as buttah.

Same with me. The game runs fine but the fourth speed for sleeping or work is so slow.

fourth speed is just third speed, but it stops when the current action your sim is doing is over.
