Is duochrome the reqirement for all 3 icons?

Yes. The new way this works is that the theme (in this case, duochrome) is the requirement for all three icons you submit. You can use any or all of the three interpretations to help you out, but the theme must be reflected in each icon.

Are there two colors involved, other than white? I can't really tell, but it could just be my monitor, or my old eyes (which have been staring at 18C dramatic criticism all day).

Ah, ok. My monitor settings aren't picking up the yellow. The first is fine, if that's the one you want to use (they're both lovely icons). Can you just tell me which character it is?

can I use a pic just using only the theme duochrome without using any of the subthemes

At least one entry has to be with one of the subthemes as well as the theme. The other two can be just the theme, not using any of the subthemes.

Your icon is cute but sort of disturbing... ^.^

Gorgeous icon, but can you let me know which subtheme it reflects? At least one entry has to reflect both theme and one of the interpretations, the other two just have to show the theme. Thanks!
