I've seen The Iron Giant, and I agree, it's a wonderful movie.

Aaaah, this made me tear up and laugh and then squee because YES YES THE GIANT CAME BACK. This is exactly the fic I have always wanted to read in this fandom, because it's precisely what I want to imagine happening not too long after the movie ends.
