My insta-reaction post for SPN 6x11 was rather, uh, incoherent but let me say that I loved the entire episode. ♥ Here, have a mini-picspam of Dean + guest character.

Ah Tessa the only "person" who could hold her own in a fight over Dean with Cas in my heart. LOL.

I love their relationship, whatever its nature. She tells Dean in 6x11 she doesn't like him. LOL she lies.

Yes, me too. I just love her and what she brings out in Dean. He's always vulnerable with her, which I guess makes sense since he is 'dead' whenever he meets her, but at the same time he doesn't just let that wall down.

I'm so, so delighted they brought her back again. She's amazing each time and she and Dean have this way of playing off each other and I noticed doing this that their scenes usually restate his determination to defy death and destiny and fight no matter what, but there's that one where he shows he wishes he'd gone with her and could be at peace.

This is gorgeous (and I just reblogged it from your tumblr). I haven't even seen 6.11 yet, but I have to comment because I love Dean/Tessa so much (still the only het pairing I've ever written :)). The lines from 4.15, especially, are so achingly, perfectly true.

Thank you! <3<3 Working with SPN caps from different seasons at once is interesting, or different episodes and early season SPN caps, much much harder to get good results with than recent ones. I love how picspamming lets me notice their lighting and color palate more, things come out I might not have noticed.

That 4x15 moment, put against the IMToD one. Oh, Dean.

I've been fascinated by Tessa since she first appeared and I love her interactions with Dean. There is such interesting stuff going on when she appears.

Always. The actress is so good and they do so much with her brief appearances.

Ooh, I had forgotten about that little convo in Death Takes a Holiday. Oh Dean....

I remember loving the conversation between Dean and Tessa in IMToD. So illuminating. As are all these conversations.

It was wonderful to see her returned. She's a great character and the actress playing her has done a great job. Giving her strength but also a world weariness that suggests she has indeed seen it all.

It was so much fun (and heartachey) to go back and look at their earlier scenes. That one from IMToD is the one most branded into my heart, though.

It was so good to see her back, and Julian Richings as Death.
