They've been through much together. It's incredible to see this friendship developing in canon (and the canon keeps enabling my slash lens, oh so easily...)

I'm so in love with this scene! I'd talk about it for hours. Oh Dot, the subtext - even without your slash lenses on it's so clear. Their interaction is so complex and it shows how these two have grown from the curiosity they had for each other (what kind of bug are you?) in 4.02 to their tribulation in season 5 and finally now when they don't have to want to help each other but they want to. I hope Cas takes Dean on that offer for help soon. C'mon, Cas, you know Dean can help.

LOL, I remove the slash goggles and Dean and Castiel look the same to me as they do with them on. :D I love so much how this friendship has developed, it's really amazing.
