Hee! Pacey-con! I'm not gonna lie, Dawson's Creek will always own a little slice of my heart & a far too large parcel of mental real estate.

So, somewhat related to your squee here: I have a little list of shows I've so far missed out on that I'd like to catch up with, which includes, in part, Fringe, White Collar, Avatar, and Leverage. I know you've been fannish to some degree about all of these: which one of them might be the best starting point if I'm in the mood of something with slightly dark humor and relatively happy endings?

Joshua Jackson seems to be embracing the fan culture.

White Collar is probably the happiest of those shows, Leverage is a little more bitter-flavored with its happy, so that might be the best match for your mood. Fringe has painful family dynamics along with the fun gross-out factor and wacky science and while it's dark it's not dark-dark-despair dark, there's a lot of awww. Avatar has tons of humor and adorableness along with its epic epic of epicness, it has its dark moments and themes -- it is about an invasion and a war -- and it's the most thinky show on the list.

Thank you from the bottom of my little geek heart for the thoughtful and comprehensive answer! ♥

I believe Leverage was exactly the show I was looking for. I'm finding Parker especially interesting, because she strikes me as the kind of character who's usually written/cast as a man (except in a Whedon-verse, where she'd be played by Eliza Dushku or Summer Glau). If I were somewhat less distracted by the shiny, I might be entertaining thinky thoughts about this.

They get more adorable every time there's a new video or interview or appearance or picspam.

It's so amazingly perfect that they'd pick [SPOILER REDACTED] and the story of how they cast [SPOILER REDACTED] is also awesome.

I have to admit I never liked Dawson's Creek that much, but Joshua Jackson is so adorable. Pacey-con! He wrote fanfic! SIGH.

And I don't watch Chuck, but that spoiler might just make me.

He is adorable. Dawson's Creek never made that much impression on me, but I remembered he was Pacey. When I finally saw Fringe I sat right up in my chair, well hello Joshua Jackson!

Chuck was already awesome, but they keep adding to its awesomeness. :D

Jensen and Danneel are alway so pretty! Hee Misha and Marvin.

Joshua Jackson Pacey Con! Weee. Heee. So Awesome.
